Happy New Year & A New Daughter!!

We have a referral! We have a referral!! She is 18 months old. She is beautiful. Precious. I can't wait to meet her! I can't wait to squeeze her! The boys are excited. Mark and I are busy telling family. I'm busy planning a girlie bedroom in my head...since up to this point all I've been doing to 'nest' is clean out every closet in the house that I possibly can.

We can only post a part of her pic at this point. So, here are her beautiful eyes! After our court date when she legally becomes a Fritchman, we will be able to post all the pics we want!!

Here is the rest of our process from this point:

1. Wait on a court date in Ghana. A POA will appear for us and she will legally become ours on this date. The general timeline for this is around 3 months or so.
2. File our I-600 here in the US in Texas. This is a form with the Dept. of Homeland Security that allows us to bring her into the US. This has been taking people generally about a month for approval.
3. She already has her passport!! So we will apply for a Visa - generally takes about 3 weeks or so.
4. Go to GHANA to bring her home!!!!

Her birthday is mid-May so our prayer is that we will have her home (or be with her in Ghana) on her 2nd birthday!!) Pray with us!

We plan to have a concert soon....look for details to come!!

She's 'Ghana' come home!!!
Can.Not.Wait.
Amy - mother of 3!!!!
